Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in American Fork, Utah. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes across the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business success. Responsibilities: • Conduct monthly reviews of budgets versus actual performance and provide detailed variance explanations. • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to aid in forecasting and strategic planning. • Analyze costs, margins, and profitability across products, customers, and channels. • Perform pricing analysis and deliver recommendations to enhance profitability. • Investigate returns, credits, and write-offs to identify trends and underlying causes. • Produce both recurring and ad hoc financial reports tailored to management needs. • Collaborate with accounting to ensure consistency in financial data and assumptions. • Support special finance-related projects and provide analytical expertise. • Utilize data-driven techniques to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of financial reporting.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize large datasets. • Experience in conducting budget-to-actual analysis and explaining variances. • Solid understanding of financial statements and key cost drivers. • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred. • Familiarity with BI tools and pricing or margin analysis is a plus.
