(DS) is seeking a qualified Principal Financial Analyst (3) to
champion financial accuracy and on-time delivery. This role is
pivotal in managing our division’s fiscal health and driving to the
NG values for high-performance. This position will be located on
site in Roy UT supporting the Strategic Defense System (SDS)
Division. The selected candidate will directly report to the
Reporting and Compliance Manager, and job responsibilities will
include, but not be limited to, the following: This role may offer
a competitive relocation assistance package. What You’ll Get To Do:
Financial Reporting & Close: Execute monthly and quarterly close
processes, ensuring the accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet, and
Operating Cash Flow statements. Financial Statement Analysis:
Analyze division financials, including, but not limited to
financial statement accounts analysis, analysis of aged balances,
and other analysis and reporting as assigned Accounting Operations:
Prepare and validate non-routine journal entries Accrual
Management: Oversee complex accrual accounting for sales, cost of
sales, margin adjustments, and accounts payable. Project Controls:
Partner with business units to validate that Estimate at Completion
(EAC) documentation is current, accurate and complete. Compliance &
Audit: Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation;
liaise with internal and external auditors thoroughly responding to
questions in support of the audit; and perform monthly labor floor
checks. Sector Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate
monthly/quarterly financial deliverables to Defense Sector
leadership. Operational Analysis: Provide the planning team with
critical actuals analysis to drive data-backed decision-making.
Communication: Prepare and present financial briefings and ad hoc
reports for Business Unit, Division, and Sector Leadership. Prepare
presentations for the Controller to represent the division in SOX
and external audits. Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate with the
finance and business management teams to develop strategies to
improve efficiency and effectiveness of the financial reporting
process Special projects : On an ad hoc basis As a full-time

work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who
work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other
Friday off. You’ll Bring These Qualifications: 5 Years with
Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD; four additional
years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel Must
have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at
time of application, current and within scope These Qualifications
Would be Nice to Have: Experience with SAP/S4 Hana Experience with
Cognos Awareness of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00 The above
salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop
Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary
offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and
the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
