Job Description Job Description Position Summary As an Asphalt Field Technician, you will be a key member of our field operations team, responsible for performing a variety of on site asphalt and paving tasks. The ideal candidate is hands on, safety focused, and ready to work outdoors on diverse paving and maintenance projects from new pavement installations to repair and preservation work. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparation of job sites, including layout, barricading, and traffic control setup. Operate and assist with asphalt paving equipment (pavers, rollers, compactors, rakes, shovels, etc.). Spread, level, and smooth asphalt material according to project specifications. Perform asphalt patching, crack sealing, sealcoating, and routine pavement repairs. Monitor material temperature and surface quality during application. Maintain tools and equipment; perform basic maintenance as needed. Clean up work areas and ensure accurate disposal of materials and debris. Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to ensure project success. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies on job sites.
