Telehealth Sign Language Interpreter opportunity available in Herriman, UT, supporting educational settings through remote interpretation services. This role focuses on facilitating effective communication for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students and staff via telehealth platforms. Responsibilities include: Providing accurate and clear sign language interpretation during virtual meetings, classes, and individual sessions. Collaborating with educators and support personnel to ensure seamless communication access. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while adhering to applicable standards and ethical guidelines. Managing scheduling and timely attendance to assigned telehealth appointments. Desired qualifications and skills: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated experience in educational environments. Experience interpreting in telehealth or virtual settings is highly preferred. Strong ability to convey complex educational content in ASL. Familiarity with interpreting ethics and confidentiality requirements. Ability to manage independent contract work efficiently.
