Reporting to the Director of Products for the Information Archiving product lines, the Product Manager for Information Archiving will be responsible for delivering new products and solutions to support Micro Focus' strategic Cloud directions for highly regulated markets. This includes definition of requirements and evangelism for Mid-Market Cloud Archiving and supervision for financial and government segments, as well as managed service providers. Additionally, define the ecosystem strategy for use of both Micro Focus and 3rd party AI and Analytics applications in our Micro Focus Cloud. httpswww.microfocus.comen-productscompliance-information-archivingoverview has details on our Archiving and Risk Management portfolio. The Product Manager, Information Archiving is responsible for Product management and lifecycle responsibility for Mid-Market Cloud compliance archiving product offerings within the Information Archiving markets Identifying product opportunities by analyzing customer needs, market trends and competitive gaps champion and present opportunities to management for consideration Research of Managed Service Provider business needs and market requirements be the voice of these partners Creating a strategy for use of add-on analytics and AI within Micro Focus' Information Archiving private and public clouds Working with development, go-to-market functional groups and leadership to define the strategic vision and roadmap for the product line Evangelizing product vision and direction throughout the organization and with analysts and partners. Working with Solutions and Product Marketing organization Education and Experience Required BS with a technical background and formal business training (MBA preferred) 5 years Cloud Product Management experience - experience with SaaS compliance, archiving, discovery and surveillance a plus Product Management certification a strong plus (e.g., Pragmatic Marketing or equivalent) Skills and Knowledge Required Knowledge of and experience with Cloud operations, Managed Service Providers andor public Cloud Managed solutions Superior presentation skills delivering both technical, financial and executive level content and messaging Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balance customer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions Ability to set strategic direction and implementation strategies that become tactical plans for teams Experience in agile scrum development processes Willingness to travel (15-25) when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
