A Day in the Life as a Technical Product Manager, Integrations As the Technical Product Manager for Integrations at Weld North Education, you have a passionate curiosity and exceptional capabilities in the identifying, envisioning and developing technical integrations between our family of products and the products our customers love and rely on to deliver a seamless experience to educators and students. Additionally, you will be working with a team of developers, quality assurance engineers and other product managers to develop and maintain the platform and tools that move our business forward. You thrive in a work environment that requires excellent problem-solving skills and directional autonomy, coupled with exceptional cross-functional team collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills. You individually focus on applying both creative and analytical approaches to any product challenge, leveraging both your team's input and most importantly that of the customer and user. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and innovative development environment embedded in a development team. An understanding of educational and technical software standards is a must. We believe product ownership is a team sport, and we only want people dedicated to delivering product in constant collaboration with Engineering and UX. We believe a product manager can make or break a product. Qualifications - Passion for products, technology, business and user experience - At least 3 years of combined experience in product management, business analyst, software developer, or similar role. K-12 or higher educational technology experience is a definite plus. - Knowledge and understanding of leading edtech standards (ex. IMS Global, Ed Fi, etc.) - Experience working in an agile and/or lean development environment - Technical prowess - You don't have to be a coder, but you should be comfortable talking with developers and partners about APIs, authentication and technical standards - Leadership skills - Ability to inspire and align your team and stakeholders while steering your products in the best directions possible - Ability to balance long term technological vision with short term business needs - Strong ability to identify opportunities for growth based on market trends - Self-motivation and a strong desire to make an impact in K-12 education - Ability to travel up to 20% to meet with customers and/or key stakeholders, product teams in other Edgenuity locations Compensation and Benefits We offer competitive salaries and benefit choices.
