AmericaJOB SUMMARYCBREs Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) creates
value, develops workplace strategies, and improves business
outcomes for occupiers of commercial real estate through our
primary servicesincluding facilities management, advisory and
transactions, project management, and more. Within our facilities
management business is our Global Energy & Sustainability
Solutioning team, working with our clients to achieve outcomes such
as optimized energy spend, lower total cost of ownership, and
reduced carbon emissions.This role will work with our clients,
dedicated client account teams, and GWS leadership to identify,
develop, and secure approval for energy and sustainability
solutions to achieve the above outcomes for our client
portfolios.The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical
sales, client management, decarbonization and energy efficiency
subject matter expertise. They will be a proven self-starter with
the ability to turn loosely-defined opportunities into compelling
business cases and solutions, as well as a leader within the field
of sustainability and a valuable consultant to colleagues and
clients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the
GWS Global Energy & Sustainability Solutioning team and client
account-dedicated FM teams to develop and deploy solutions within
existing client accounts as well as RFP pursuits. Consult on and
lead strategy development for sustainability, decarbonization, life
cycle cost analyses and long-term capital planning. Support the
integration of sustainability solutions, facilities management,
capital planning, smart building analytics, and energy management
within the CBREs solutioning framework.Function as a
decarbonization, energy and asset performance subject matter expert
for client account teams and account-dedicated Energy and
Sustainability Managers. Support these teams in the evaluation and
development of innovative initiatives and technologies.Support GWS
sales leadership in the development of client and portfolio
solutions for new pursuits and prospective clients, including
analysis of portfolio data and site visits as required. Present
solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.Contribute to
CBREs internal library of energy and sustainability solutions
go-to-market packages for energy solutions and innovative
technologies intended for use by our client account-dedicated
teams.Manages internal and external relationships in support of
program. May contract and manage vendors. May provide consultation
on initiatives that integrate into an organized program.Responsible
for reporting status of individual and groups of projects and
programs. Provides appropriate levels of detail, and summarizes
complex issues succinctly.Stay current on and keep the broader GWS
Global Energy & Sustainability Solutioning team informed of the
latest innovative technologies applicable to our client portfolios.
Collaborate with peers on vetting new technologies and solutions
for broader CBRE client deployment.Potentially perform energy &
sustainability assessments (both on-site and remote) of client
portfolios and develop impactful and scalable energy and carbon
reduction initiatives. Work with CBRE service lines and partners to
develop comprehensive turnkey solutions.Potentially oversee the
execution of energy audits (ex. ASHRAE) or energy assessments
including the review of written reports as required by the defined
scope of work, LEED requirements, etc to ensure conformity and
consistency.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory
responsibilities in this position. Aids technical guidance and/or
training to on account E&S personnel.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform

EXPERIENCEFour-year degree in Engineering or a minimum 7 years
building engineering experience and/or training. Experience with
energy modelling beneficial.CERTIFICATES and/or
LICENSESProfessional Engineering License and/or AEE or IEnMP
certification preferred.Certified Energy Manager (CEM) a
plusCOMMUNICATION SKILLSExcellent written and verbal communication
skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to
provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to
internal and external customers. Ability to effectively present
information.DATA MANAGEMENT AND ANALYTICSAbility to manage energy
information, compile observations from energy assessments and
evaluate both supply and demand side opportunity. Must have
expertise/experience with EUIs, CBECs, Energy Star, utility
invoices, key site prioritization, energy asset consumption
profiles, energy balance, energy consuming system types, LC/NC
solutions, efficiency, RCx and building management systems
interrogation.FINANCIAL AND STATISTICAL KNOWLEDGERequires basic
knowledge of financial and statistical terms and principles.
Ability to define and present life cycle cost benefits from energy,
maintenance and operations improvements as well as data mine
utility rebates/incentives.REASONING ABILITYAbility to comprehend,
analyze, and interpret energy data, utility invoices, and
competitive audit reports, Requires advanced analytical and
quantitative skills.OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIESAdvanced skills in
Microsoft Office Suite Products, particularly Excel and Power
Point. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.SCOPE
OF RESPONSIBILITYDecisions made with thorough understanding of
procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve
general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit
and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term
impact to department.CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to
determine compensation, including a candidates education, training,
and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $100,000
annually and the maximum salary for the position is $130,000
annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful
candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and
experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a
discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program.CBRE
