The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

**Registered Nurse (RN)- Special Coverage**

Intermountain is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Homecare and Hospice team located in Utah County, Utah. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be working with the Homecare and Hospice team working Saturday and Sunday 8AM-11PM and Monday 3PM-11PM

**Registered Nurse (RN)**

**Job Essentials**

**Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status (including cognitive, communicative and developmental skills as appropriate).**

**Uses assessment information and critical thinking skills to collaboratively develop individualized plan of care. Revise and reassess changes as appropriate.**

**Actively seeks patient, family, team, and physician involvement to develop plan of care including needed education.**

**Collaboratively plans and prepares patients for further support needs once the current episode of care outcomes are met (i.e., teaching, referrals, and follow-up).**

**Sets priorities, coordinates, and organizes patient care delivery through effectively managing time, supplies, and resources.**

**Registered Nurse (RN)**

**Minimum Qualifications**

**Current RN License in state of practice. License is verified**

**Current BLS Certification for healthcare providers**

**Current driver's license, insured and reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record**

**Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing**

**Ability to transfer patients independently**

**Note:** **Registered Nurses (RN) hired on or after January 1, 2021 who have 12 months or less of working experience as an Registered Nurse (RN) prior to joining Intermountain will be required to obtain their BSN degree on or before June 1, 2026.**

**Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)**

**Two years working as an Registered Nurse (RN)**

**Previous experience in an Acute Care, Home Health, or Hospice setting**
