PHYSICIAN ANESTHESIOLOGISTSITE OF SERVICE:Langley Medical Group Hampton, VAFull Time PositionPOSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:Degree: (Have one of the following from an accredited university):Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)Education: Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship and residency program which has been approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.Experience: Must have had at least 2 years in the required clinical discipline.Licensure: Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice as a M.D./D.O in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Island.DEA: Current RegistrationBoard Certification: Current ASA Board Certified Anesthesiologist; Additional Certifications: Hands on certification through the American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS)Current ACLSCurrent PALSCurrent NRPU.S. Citizenship: Shall be a U.S. citizenEnglish Language Requirement: Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.HOURS:Shift hours are Monday-Sunday.
