Job Description:Join our dedicated Imaging Services team as an
Imaging Services Nurse, where you will play a pivotal role in
delivering exceptional patient care. In this dynamic and fulfilling
position, you'll oversee patient care management, including
assessment, education, and follow-up, ensuring patients feel
supported every step of the way. You'll also provide expert
conscious sedation care and manage pharmacology with precision and
compassion. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to assist
with interventional procedures, working closely with skilled

Imaging RN Role: As a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging, you will
be responsible for preparing patients for a variety of imaging
procedures across different body parts (excluding the heart). This
position requires a commitment to high-quality care, utilizing
evidence-based practices and collaborating closely with the
healthcare team. You may also rotate through sedation areas and
assist with emergency procedures as needed. Why Work With Us:

- Schedule: Full time, 40 hours. Monday through Friday with start
times between 6AM-8:30AM - 10 hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing imaging
procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including Physicians
and support staff, to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patients before and after procedures,
ensuring safety and comfort.
- Educate patients about their procedures and address any
questions or concerns.
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency imaging
procedures as required. Compensation and Benefits:

Click here Minimum Qualifications:
- Current RN License in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
certifications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency. RNs with less than 12 months of
experience prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN
within five years of their start date. Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited
institution.
- Critical Care Experience
- Understanding of basic x-ray principles and practices.

- Critical Care Experience Physical Requirements:
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels,
assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and
supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients,
and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well
as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and
issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency
situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and
delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes
frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care,
accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer
patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and
equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and
including heavy items.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This
includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including
heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms
(full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an
extended period of time.
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which
requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and

hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate
