Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of Medical Assistant Endocrinology at our state-of-the-art
facilities. This role is pivotal in assisting endocrinologists in
the diagnosis and management of hormonal conditions that affect a
wide range of body systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a
commitment to patient care and a passion for advancing the field of
endocrine health. This position offers the opportunity to work
closely with top specialists and use the latest medical
technologies in a supportive and dynamic environment. Assist
endocrinologists during patient examinations and treatments.
Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and
maintaining medical records. Prepare treatment rooms for patient
examinations, ensuring all necessary equipment is clean and in
proper working order. Educate patients on managing illnesses and
health improvements Coordinate patient care with other team members
and departments. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and
perform basic laboratory tests. Strong patient care skills Ability
to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of medical
software and administrative procedures Familiarity with endocrine
diseases and treatments preferred Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical
Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
CPR/BLS certification required.
