Job Description Job Description: hen you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As a Physician in the Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide full spectrum care for patients with colorectal cancer, pelvic floor disease, IBD and anal disease and will have medical student teaching opportunities. This position includes a starting salary of $496,000 annually, a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance You will have a combination of clinic, OR, and Endo days with opportunities to practice at both the Avenues General Surgery location in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Intermountain Surgical Specialists location in Murray, UT with hospital privileges at both LDS Hospital and Intermountain Medical Center This position will allow for the development and involvement in the Cancer Center at Intermountain Medical Center. There will be additional opportunity to participate in the creation of a fully comprehensive Digestive Diseases Institute, which is projected to open in 2029 at the brand-new state-of-the-art LDS Hospital Call is 1:4 colorectal back-up How we'll support you: We care about your well-being, which is why we provide our caregivers with a generous benefits package. What you’ll bring: MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine Residency trained in Surgery; Fellowship trained in Colon & Rectal Surgery w/ a minimum of 2 years of Colon & Rectal Surgery experience Board certification or eligibility in Colon & Rectal Surgery Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time About us: Intermountain Health is a model health system which provides extraordinary care and superior service at an affordable cost.
