$18.00/HourShift: Full-Time, Year Round Benefited Position MUST BE
AVAILABLE WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS Typical shift is 8 hours, between 2pm
- 12am. (varies with business demands) SUMMARYLead a professional
afternoon/evening cleaning crew to maintain a sense of arrival for
all guests in public areas, offices, and rooms as needed. Assist
Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeping Manager with all
services needed to maintain cottages, mountain homes, housekeeping
closets and public areas according to resort standards.ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.Review events for the day to determine nightly cleaning
schedule ensuring public area restrooms are attended as needed
based on anticipated volume of usage. Follow up with the front desk
for any room moves, guest issues and recovery to enhance the guest
experience.Assist with cleaning lodging units or mountain homes as
needed.Conduct room inspections when there are any changes for
guest arrivals past 4:00 pm.Learn how to open and close SMS to
update room status when there are changes past 5:00 pm. Keep
communication flowing from the AM shift management and
supervisors.Answer phone calls from guests regarding requests, room
issues, room moves and communicate with other departments to assist
guest needs and for a better guest experience.Ensures all evening
services are performed to standard by following up with the team in
public areas, houseperson duties and turn down service.Check in and
out keys and radios from the safety office.Check in/out Sundance
vehicle following Sundance vehicle safety guidelines.Supervise all
employees in assigned sections.Ensure all closets and storage areas
are clean and stocked.Ensure cleanliness of all common areas and
ensure amenities are stocked in common area storages and common
area restrooms.Delegate public area cleaning duties to available
evening staff and perform inspections of completed work, making
sure checklists have been completed before the end of shift.Ensure
garbage, recyclables, and linen are picked up as needed.Ensure
staff follows Sundance Housekeeping protocols for cleanliness and
safety.Communicate problems and requests in need of attention to
other departments in a timely manner.Review the Turndown Report
twice per shift and assign rooms to turndown attendants.Delegate
work evenly to room turndown attendants and housemen.Perform
turndown inspections and train on turndown policies/presentations,
per turndown checklists and SOPs.Ensure guest requests are
accommodated within 10 minutes of contact and effectively
communicate any delays if necessary.Communicate to PBX when a guest
request has been completed.Safely transport team members and
equipment to assigned areas according to housekeeping
standards.Ensure each employee is wearing a neat and complete
uniform in compliance with the Sundance and Housekeeping appearance
policies.Ensure keys and radios checked out have been returned to
safety.Complete an End of Shift report (EOS) identifying challenges
and/or items requiring manager attention.Ensure all
housepersons/turndown attendants clock in/out at scheduled times
unless otherwise instructed by the Executive Housekeeper.Coach
employees on prioritizing duties and completing duties to the
Sundance standard. Provide constructive feedback on performance
based on inspection evaluations, praising employees, addressing
complaints, resolving problems. Promote a positive work environment
by showing employee appreciation, administering constructive
criticism in a professional and sensitive manner. Use critical
thinking to resolve problems. Encourage and motivate employees,
maintain a positive attitude despite adversity to promote strong
morale. Report performance or insubordination issues to Management
for resolution and/or discipline. Communicate any unfinished work
or challenges with the PM Shift and Management to prevent
unresolved problems. Attend bi-weekly progress meetings with
Management as scheduled to assess performance trends. Ensure
sufficient labor coverage and cover vacant shifts due to
short-staffing or scheduled/non-scheduled employee absences when
creating the weekly schedule. Work weekly schedule as approved by
Management based on business demands. Complete all other special
projects as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.ALL SUNDANCE

standard: All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50)
must be in compliance.Employees are required to wear nametags at
all times while on duty.Clothing must be unwrinkled, clean, and in
good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether
accidental or fashionably placed).Blue jeans are permitted.Men's
shirts must be tucked in.Appropriate skirt length is from the knee
to the ankle.A tailored fit is required of all clothing.Tank tops,
halter tops tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.Bare midriffs are
prohibited.Dress sandals are permitted for females.Flip flops are
prohibited in all areas.Tennis shoes are permitted, but must be in
good repair and not too flashy.Fashion sneakers are allowed within
department approved parameters.The Housekeeping Uniform consists of
the following:Blue jeans or Khaki pants (without fancy
embroidery)Sundance issued shirt, sweatshirt, or coat.If an
additional layer of clothing is needed for warmth while on duty, it
must either be Sundance issued or it must be warn underneath the
uniform and not visible (except in the collar area).Hats may be
worn, but must be PRE-APPROVED by the
