Position Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to work in our fast-paced Cardiology Clinic as a Customer Care/Medical Receptionist. A successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations and providing outstanding customer service and care. This position will work at Cardiology Clinics in American Fork, Orem and Provo. Essential Job Functions:

• Facilitates checking in and assisting patients
• Maintains efficient and effective workflow
• Verifies patient identification, information and orders tests requested by providers
• Registers and enters patient demographic and insurance information
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
  • Outstanding customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter, a team player, dependable, friendly, and professional and be able to multi-task and work efficiently while remaining calm and productive.
  • Basic computer skills and keyboarding competency
  • Previous medical experience and Spanish speaking proficiency would be preferred but not required. Hours: This is a full-time position. Our office hours are open between 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. The position will also be helping with occasional outreach clinic coverage that may require a candidate to work between 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. These are scheduled in advance.
