  • The Business Application Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining business applications for our Supply Chain Management (SCM) Organization. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to solve business problems with technical solutions and will have experience implementing applications/tools utilized organization-wide daily.

  • The Business Application Developer supports scheduled data requests as well as frequent, urgent ad-hoc information requests, support local and corporate initiatives for data integrity and normalization, be proactive, possess an attention to detail and retain a sense of ownership for Supply Chain data and tools. In addition, the candidate will successfully interpret business requirements and translate them into constructive data reports, metrics, presentations, and applications.

  • Develop and implement tools, processes and other strategies that optimize operational efficiency and quality

    • Flexibly implement design requirements, make changes quickly in development and production environments

    • Use agile methodologies to turn user requirements into iterative application designs

    • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/systems

    • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends/patterns in complex data sets

    • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

    • Maintain strong relationship with corporate IT entities to prioritize SCM related IT requests

    • Locate and define process improvement opportunities

    • Resolve conflicts and errors quickly and with the proper level of escalation

    • Develop and conduct training for system users

    • Experience developing applications used daily by business professionals
      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience

      • 2 years' experience mining and modeling data using SQL

      • 2 years' experience managing technical projects from conception to completion

        • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

        • Excellent organizational skills, independent thinking, and a high level of initiative

        • Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills

        • Able to manage competing priorities

        • Have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team

        • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be quality focused

        • Visual Studio Application Development and Maintenance

        • SAP ERP

        • Microsoft Office Suite / VBA

        • Tableau

        • Knowledge of supply chain practices
          In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $54,000 - $100,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
