Position Summary

Responsible for the supervision of department therapy staff, reception, telephone, and medical records. Creates and maintains a smooth workflow process in a high-volume practice with two office locations. Ensures that the offices run efficiently, that patient needs are met in a timely way, and that an environment of superior customer service is maintained. Monitors for quality and is responsible for the accuracy and of work performed by department staff. Oversees therapy schedule to ensure reception and assistants coordinate provider messages and scheduling requirements on a daily basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Interacts daily with providers to ensure proper flow of communication. * Manages reception, therapy staff, and medical records to maintain functioning work schedules, expedite workflow, and coordinate time off. * Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to Revere policies and procedures. Make process changes when necessary to ensure conformance to clinic policies. * Identifies and resolves problems in a timely and effective manner. * Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues. * Manages difficult, financial or emotional patient situations. Responds promptly to patient needs. Ensures good quality patient relationships. * Maintains physician's schedules in Centricity Business. * Develops office processes and procedures for work activity. Assists administrator with staff education and training. * Reviews reports from billing to ensure proper information is maintained on patient demographics, insurance, and charge codes. * Maintains department focus on customer service. Develops procedures and training for reception and therapy staff in areas of customer service and patient flow. * Manages daily cash handling, credit card reports, co-pay collection and reporting. * Interviews and selects new hires, coordinating with providers and the administrator. Conducts performance reviews with direct reports and therapy staff, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work alone with minimal supervision * Ability to function in a team-based environment, working closely with therapists, administration, and patients. * Demonstrated analytical and management ability. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to generate reports in Excel. * Ability to generate reports relevant to management of the department, and to implement corresponding plans that resolve issues and improve office workflow. * Previous experience in medical office management preferred.

Working Hours

Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday: 8am-5pm

Will manage Physical Therapy Practices in Provo and Salem.
