We are currently seeking candidate for a:HR MANAGERThis person will work with the management team to design, develop, implement and evaluate the business plan and strategy. Identify key HR issues and develop/implement action plans to support related business objectives. Selects and/or supports identifying candidates for key management positions. Actively participates in interviewing process, recommends selection of candidates as well as compensation packages and employment terms. Works with team members on The McWane Way culture and engagement. Performance Improvement: Assists facilities management team in addressing performance issues in key positions and provides consultative support as required. Engages management team in actively managing talent.Training & Development: Works on identifying Training & Development needs, resources required and coordination of efforts to roll out programs.Compensation & Benefits: Collaborates with Corporate HR on benefit plans and compensation.Performance Management: Coordinates and leads the performance management and employee development activities for the facilities.Programs & Policies: Oversees implementation of McWane Ductile Human Resources programs and policies. Compliance: Ensures compliance with various governmental laws and regulations including EEOC, Wage & Hour, worker’s comp., disability, FMLA, etc. Ensures complaisance to these requirements by conducting scheduled audits. Supports, plans and addresses any gaps discovered during the audits.Labor Relations: Works closely with management staff in formulation of facilities objectives in collective bargaining, labor contract administration, and employee relations. Will participate in labor contract negotiations.Process Improvement: Works with the HR staff to identify and implement processes necessary to eliminate duplication of work and reduce overall administrative burden within the business.Undergraduate degree in HR, business, or related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience (or equivalent).Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications. Must be hands on and ready to roll up his/her sleeves.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general public.Sound generalist knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource administration.Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex human resource issues.
