The Key Account Manager develops and implements strategic business plans that meet agreed to sales and profitability goals annually. This is a sales leader with a tremendous reputation for cultivating and retaining relationships with key influencers and sales leaders, to accomplish growth goals for LineDrive, our manufacturers and distributor partners. Reports To: Key Account Director What it Takes To Be a Successful Key Account Manager: Manage and lead current manufacturer programs at distributor corporate location Develop and execute Marketing Campaigns to drive business forward and develop brand awareness within the industrial market Align all efforts to our identified growth drivers Own business development drivers with both sales and marketing tactics Communicate with all client stakeholders and LineDrive Management. Manage time, travel, and budget effectively Understand market conditions, how they impact sales and implement strategy for growth Lead the development and execution of detailed initiatives Develop market research parameters to know business trends and how to grow sales off of them Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solution Enhance LineDrive's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing high level relationships; exploring opportunities to add value to LineDrive Create gap analysis to understand which programs have greater growth potential and plan steps to accomplish greater sales Develop and execute strategies to grow our existing book of business Expand book of business through thorough strategies and analysis What You Need Under Your Belt to Be Considered: Education: Bachelor's degree; required Skills & Competencies: 5-8 years MRO industrial sales experience; required 5-8 years program management sales experience; required 3 years experience in development and execution on marketing campaigns; required Proficient using PipeLineDeals or similar CRM Familiar with SIC codes and the markets associated with them (Research) Ability to understand and align the differentiators our clients provide (product/service) to specific SIC codes (Industry Aptitude) Experienced in building compelling stories to influence multiple influencers to propose our client's solution to the customers most likely aligned to it (Creativity) Experienced in design and execution of vertical marketing plans (Creativity - Structured Process) Ability to create the "why on the fly" to position the right differentiator at the right moment to the right decision maker (Constantly Prepared and Aware) Ability to lead through collaboration (Create and speak to individual horizons - Visionary)Paint the horizon Let the person engaged know how it impacts them Identify the challenges before the horizon Position us and our client's solution as the way to remove the challenges to reach sales goals Consistent execution of Scorecard or KPI metrics Demonstrated ability to strategize and think outside the box in a constructive positive manner Must possess high energy and drive with a real desire to ensure a win-win outcome Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and time management skills Flexible when priorities shift Demonstrated ability to progressively manage and maintain contacts with established customers Significant closed sales initiated through positive relationships with key distributor and/or manufacturer reps Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Travel Requirements: 3-5 overnights per month Technical Requirements: Minimum home internet speed of 15Mpbs - in other words, you have no problem streaming HD content at home Physical Demands: Sitting, particularly for sustained periods of time Airline travel throughout the United States with 3-5 overnights at hotels every month Ability to walk through end user facilities for up to 5 hours at a time Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: This position works remotely and generally works on the go, in a hotel, at a distributor's offices, manufacturer facility, or from a home office. Manufacturing facilities may have varying degrees of noise levels, air quality, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
