Histotechnologist ASCP/Mountain View Hospital
Histotechnologist ASCPOrganizes, processes, cuts,
stains, and otherwise prepares tissue for microscopic evaluation by
the Pathologist. He/She ensures that the organization of gross
specimens and the accurate processing in staining of tissue
sections is completed. Ensures Histology section is being run

Registered as a Histology Technician by the American Society of
- Education: Bachelors
Degree and 1 year full time experience in Histology under a
certified Pathologist. Must be a registered Histology
- Experience: Minimum
two (2) years experience in histology section.
- Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities: Effective communication skills; both orally and
written. Computer skills needed. Ability to manage a team and work
with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong
problem solving skills. Qualified candidate will possess exemplary
performance and commitment to job.
