DescriptionJOB TITLE: - Village Landscaper CLASSIFICATION: - Hourly - Summer Seasonal or Flex Year-Round (shoulder seasons off) - - POSITION: - Solitude is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented individual who enjoys the outdoor lifestyle. Working as our Village Attendant/Landscaper means you'll have the benefit of working in the most breathtaking scenery amongst great people and captivating wildlife. We are looking for someone to help maintain a safe and guest-friendly environment in parking lots and village areas. Solitude has an expectation of keeping safe and efficient loading zones for our guests and preserving walkways and resort common areas to conserve our beautiful environment. This role is extremely important and valuable to our resort as this service provides assistance and helpful guidance to guests to make their experience memorable. We are excited to be growing our team and treating our employees to the unique and amazing perks and benefits Solitude Mountain Resort has to offer. - SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Must have sufficient communication skills to answer guest questions and the physical ability necessary to complete all other Village Grounds duties and responsibilities including cleaning, shoveling, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40lbsMust have the desire and ability to tolerate and work in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time including hot temperatures, inclement weather, and moving between indoor and outdoor environmentsThe ability to meet and/or exceed satisfactory performance levels in all duties as assignedJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Improve landscaping at the resort by paving, weeding, planting, edging, etc. -Constant and continuous collection of trash and debris, sweeping, etc.Be open to accepting other village maintenance duties and responsibilities within the departmentCommunicate in a pleasant and respectful manner with fellow employees and guestsAssist guests with parking directions and with their equipment in loading zones.
