hour + TipsShift: Part-time Seasonal position Variable shifts 1 PM
- 11 PM Sunday through Saturday 3-5 days per week, June 1st -
September 3, Weekends and holidays requiredSUMMARYResponsible for
creating an exceptional Sundance experience by providing
consistent, friendly, professional, and timely service of food and
beverages in Deli and Concessions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.Ensure that recycling is available and effective at in
Deli and Concessions outlets. Assist guests with recycling as
needed. Share the Sundance story of environmental commitment and
land preservation with guests as the opportunity arises.Exhibit a
passion for the industry and contribute to a collaborative team
environment.Mobilize and supervise a large work TeamThrive in a
high paced environment which requires multitasking and balancing
competing deadlines.Ability to maintain confidentiality of
sensitive information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word,
ExcelAbility to read, analyze and interpret documents. Supervise,
train and plan, direct all Employees on assigned shift.Ensure
compliance with all rules, regulations, and procedures.Document
incidents and events involving guests or Employees accurately
following Sundance reporting protocols.Conduct pre-shift meeting
with team to prepare for service.Inspect Employee uniforms,
cleanliness, identification, etc.Keep Employees informed of new
procedures.Ensures a safe working environment for Employees.Promote
teamwork amongst Employees.Provide courteous and friendly service
to all vendors, guests and Employees.Seek out ways to provide
additional assistance and service to all guests.Handle customer
complaints and initiate relevant service recoveries as deemed
fit.Execute food and beverage service to guests ensuring all
Sundance standards for quality, recipes, measurements, preparation,
and presentation are met.Ensure safety measures and health code
standards for food and beverage handling are upheld.Consistently
provides quality beverages for all guests.Greet guests in a
friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or
promotions for guest awareness.Accurately handle money in
accordance with department policies and procedures.Demonstrate
complete knowledge of menu items and ingredients to educate guests
and make recommendations.Input the order into the Point of Sale
computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order
being placed.Transport trays/plates throughout the work space which
may weigh up to 40 pounds.Deliver food and beverage items to
guests.Assist guests with inquires in a timely manner and with a
cheerful disposition.Perform opening & closing side work duties on
a daily basis.Keep composure and maintain service standards when
dealing with guests complaints to achieve a high level of guest
recovery.Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests. Bus
tables and ensure tables are reset in a timely manner and to
Sundance standard.Remain up to date on Resorts current events and
the hours of operation of food and beverage outlets.Have fun at
work and display that spirit to our guests.Develop, lead, maintain,
and enhance guest relations through personalized experience and
unscripted guest interactions.Read, write and communicate verbally

Perform basic math to accurately manage till, point of sale
transactions, inventory, etc. Demonstrate knowledge and
understanding of company and department rules, policies and
procedures through performance and decision making. Demonstrate

Demonstrate a complete understanding of all applicable laws and
regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages in Utah. (As
dictated by Beverage Department and State and local laws).Exhibit
responsible service of alcoholic beverages in accordance to state
laws, policies and procedures.Knowledge of beverages (i.e. beers,
wines, liquors, etc) with ability to communicate with guests and
staff.Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry
stock deliveries.Clean common areas and prepare it for the day's
operations Ensures that the area is always clean and in good
repair, with responsibility of informing Management as needed for
maintenance and/or cleaning assistance. Inspect cleanliness of all
assigned stations.Serve hot beverages hot and cold beverages
cold.Stock items in proper location.Work in required uniform and
shoes as detailed in departmental policies.Remain up-to-date on
Hotel current events and the hours of operation of all food and
beverage outlets.Maintain a safe and sanitary workplace.ALL

all times while on duty.Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and
in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether
accidental or fashionably placed).Blue jeans are permitted.Men's
shirts must be tucked in.Appropriate skirt length is from the knee
to the ankle.A tailored fit is required of all clothing.Tank tops,
halter tops tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.Bare midriffs are
prohibited.Proper footwear for your department is required.Dress
sandals are permitted for females.Flip flops are prohibited in all
areas.Tennis shoes are prohibited unless there is a business need
(ie: Mtn. Ops.)Fashion sneakers are allowed within department
approved parameters.If your department allows t-shirts, they must
be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos. If your
department allows baseball caps, they must be in good condition and
have appropriate Sundance logos.If your department allows beanies,
they must be in good condition and Sundance branded.Employees
working in retail outlets may wear t-shirts and caps that are sold
