Job Description:

*Job Summary*As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. You will work closely with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.*Duties*- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy- Administer respiratory treatments and medications- Monitor and record patients' progress and vital signs- Educate patients on respiratory health management- Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care settings such as Critical Care and inpatient units- Perform diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment*Requirements*-Current Utah RRT or CRT License- Acute care experience preferred- Knowledge of pediatric respiratory care is a plus- Understanding of anatomy and physiology related to respiratory systems- Proficiency in assessing vital signs and patient responses- Experience in critical care environments like ICU is beneficial- Familiarity with medical terminology-ABG Experience is a plus- Certification in (BLS, ACLS & PALS)Job Type: Full-timePay: $36.00 - $41.00 per hourShift:* Night shiftApplication Question(s):* Can you work from 7p-7a, three nights a week?Experience:* Respiratory therapy: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* RRT or CRT License (Required)Work Location: In person
